MRS. POLING DEAD AT 73

ALBION---(Special)---Mrs. Daisey Wiley Poling, 73, who lived two miles northwest of Albion, died at 8:55 a.m. Tuesday at Evangelical Hospital where she had been a patient since Saturday. Mrs. Poling had been in failing health for many years and suffered a broken hip Saturday. THE BODY will remain at Avey Funeral Home until 10 a.m. Thursday, when it will be taken to Albion for services at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church there in charge of the Rev. E. E. Clements, Laurel, and the Rev. Robert Johnson. Burial will be in Bethel Grove Cemetery. The family has requested that all memorials be directed to the Albion Methodist Church. MRS. POLING was born Jan. 8, 1884 in Audubon County, the daughter of Benjamin and Hannah Arney Wiley. On June 8, 1908, she was married to Hugh Poling in Marshalltown. He died in 1914. Two sons, Cleo and Harold of Albion, survive. Another son, Clarence, died in 1956. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and a cousin, Mamie Arney, with whom she had lived for many years.
