FORMER AREA WOMAN DIES

STATE CENTER---(Special)---Mrs. Ruth Highsmith has received word that her aunt, Mrs. Frank McKibben, 84, Montrose, Colo., died Wednesday at her home. SERVICES FOR the former Albion and Marshalltown resident will be held Friday at Montrose, with burial there. Mrs. McKibben was born in Albion, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Collins, and lived in Marshalltown a number of years. SHE IS survived by the widower and five children; Eugene, Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Leland Zink, Plano, Ill.; Mrs. Bryan Jesup, Suttgart, Ark.; Mrs. Marion Johnson, Burnswick, N.J., and Mrs. Sarah Gum, who lived with her parents. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Ward C. Bailey, Scotis, N.Y., and Mrs. Myra Taylor, Loveland, Colo.; two brothers, Ed Collins, Ames, and Lyman Collins, State Center; 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and numerous other relatives in this area.
