JOHN HELBERG IS DEAD AT 66

John A. Helberg, 66, 1316 W. Summit St., died at his home at 7:30 a.m. Monday. He was born Oct. 16, 1887, in Sweden, the son of Matilda and John Helberg. He came to the States as a young boy and has lived in Marshalltown ever since. Surviving are his widow, three daughters, Mrs. Nellie Edgett, Chicago, Mrs. Don Gooch, Chicago, Mrs. Ruth Taylor, Alhambra, Calif., three grandchildren and three brothers, Charles, Ames, Adolph, Kankakee, Ill., and Antone, Newton. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Pursel Funeral Home with burial in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
