MCKIBBEN DIES IN MINNESOTA

ALBION---(Special)---Monroe McKibben, 75, former resident of the Albion community, died Wednesday at his home in Madella, Minn. He was born northeast of Albion June 1, 1877, son of Joseph and Cynthia Lhamon McKibben, and was married to Elizabeth Reidel of Albion Feb. 6, 1902. They farmed in the Liscomb and Albion communities and in 1919 went to Lamberton, Minn., where they farmed until their retirement several years ago. Besides the widow he is survived by four children, Wendell McKibben, Rochester, Minn.; Mrs. Reuben Borkhart and Jacob McKibben, Albert Lea, Minn., and Wilma at home. Also surviving are six grandchildren; two brothers, Riley McKibben of Liscomb and Frank of Montrose, Colo., and a sister, Mrs. J. L. Arney of Marshalltown. Funeral arrangements have not been completed, but burial will be at Albion or Liscomb.
