Ia. Vienna Township, Monday, September 3d, Mrs. R. E. Weatherly. Last week Thursday, Mrs. Weatherly passed through a most difficult and dangerous surgical operation, the removal of an overtoby by Dr. Getz, assisted by Drs. Kibbey and others. The shock proved too severe for her already prostrate condition and death followed. An examination after death developed another tumor, which had almost entirely consumed the left kidney; showing that there was no help for her, death would have followed in any event. Mrs. Weatherly was a sister of Col. Beeson, of this city, and had many relatives and friends in this county who will deeply mourn her loss.
