CHARLES CARR DIES IN UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL

Charles Arthur Carr, 67, over 122 West Main street, died at 12:10 a.m. Wednesday at the University hospital in Iowa City where he had been a patient since last Thursday. Before that he was in the Deaconess hospital here for a week. Death was due to septicemia. Mr. Carr was born April 25, 1874, at Centerville, Ohio, and had lived in Marshalltown the last 21 years. He married Marie Frahm May 8, 1920, at Marion. He was employed on the W.P.A. project at the Central Iowa fairgrounds here but was forced to quit work May 14 when he became ill. Besides his widow he is survived by one son, Delmar Carr of Waterloo; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Dent, city, and Mrs. Glenn Mollsberry, whose address is unknown to the family, and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Binegar, Grinnell, and Mrs. Ethel Beeson of Montezuma. Mr. Carr was a member of the Moose lodge here. The body was removed to the Wagner mortuary where funeral services will be held at a time to be announced later.
