MRS. FOSTER, FORMER COUNTY RESIDENT, DIES

Mrs. Grover C. Foster, 62, Kellogg, died at her home Friday at 8:30 p.m. She had been in failing health for several years. She was born March 30, 1893 in Marion township in Marshall County, the daughter of George and Laura Richey Mitchell. She received her education in the Marshall County schools and grew to womanhood here. She lived in Marshall County most of her life with the exception of seven years in Michigan and the past 11 years in Jasper County. IN 1910 SHE was married to John L. McCrary in Marshalltown. They were the parents of three children. In October 1937 she moved to Bay City, Mich., where she was married to Grover C. Foster. The couple later moved to Kellogg where they had since resided. Mrs. Foster was a member of the Methodist Church. Preceding her in death were two sons and a brother, Bruce Mitchell. SHE IS SURVIVED by her husband, a son, Elmer, of Liscomb and a daughter, Mrs. Edwin Pajakowski, Bay City. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Keefer, Conrad, and eight grandchildren, Terence Allison, Maryln and Ardelle McCrary, Barbara Dennis, James, Patricia and Johnny Pajakowski. Three stepchildren and several step-grandchildren also survive. Services will be held from the Estel-Perrin Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Monday in charge of the Rev. William Till. Burial will be in the Albion Cemetery.
