TOLEDO RITES HELD FOR MRS. CROSS, 39

TOLEDO---(Special)---Services for Mrs. Lyle Cross, 39, of Clutier were Monday at First Methodist Church with burial in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens at Marshalltown. The Rev. Harold Floth of Clutier officiated. Bearers were Carl Reeder, Paul McNall, Gary Ridout, Myron Merchant, Loy Beadle and Wesley Vavroch. Mrs. Cross was born Mary Etta Palmer at Farmer, Mo., and lived at Ferguson for a short time before her marriage in Cyrene, Mo., in 1938. She and her husband farmed in the Marshalltown and Clutier communities. Her death followed a year's illness of cancer. Surviving are the widower; three children, Linda, Dwight and Daryle; her mother, Mrs. Bessie Palmer, and brother, Sam, Bowling Green, Mo., and three sisters, Mrs. Harry McBride of Bowling Green, Mrs. Gene Howard of Clutier, and Mrs. Loyd Grant of Gladbrook.
