FRANK NAUMAN, 70, DIES AT HIS HOME; SERVICES MONDAY

Frank Nauman, 79, route 1, lifelong resident of Liscomb township, died at 8:35 a.m. Friday at his home nine miles north of Marshalltown. He had been in failing health since August. Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Presbyterian church in Conrad with Masonic rites at the grave in Conrad cemetery. Mr. Nauman was born Sept. 13, 1872, son of Fred A. and Amelia Miller Nauman. He attended the Albion seminary and taught in Marshall and Grundy county rural schools before becoming a farmer. He was married Oct. 7, 1909, to Ethel White, who died in 1939. Four children survive; Mrs. Lillian Hannish, Park Rapids, Minn.; Edward Nauman, Ames; Mrs. Margaret Beach and Mrs. Ruth Gale, Marshalltown. Other survivors are a sister, Mrs. Edith Rockhill, Conrad, and five grandchildren.
