COUNTY PIONEER, MRS. DICKSON, DIES IN IDAHO AT 96

LISCOMB---(Special)---Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Mary Beeson Dickson, 96, member of a prominent Marshall County pioneer family, on Christmas at Boise, Idaho. Services were to be held there Thursday. Mrs. Dickson was born in Liscomb Township June 19, 1859, one of ten chldren of Samuel and Martha Beeson, who came here in 1855. She taught rural schools at Liscomb before her marriage to Wesley Dickson March 22, 1888. They farmed near Liscomb, then moved to Boise before 1900. She was prominent in the Idaho Business and Professional Women's Club. One of her brothers was Gen. B. A. Beeson, an early Marshall County treasurer and later commandant of the Iowa Soldiers Home. Another, Chalk Beeson, Dodge City, Kan., had a famed cowboy band. Mrs. Dickson is survived by a son, John and a daughter, Mrs. Roxie Dickson, both of Boise, and a sister, Mrs. Tura Lybarger, North Rochelle, Long Island.
