MOBLEY DIES IN HOSPITAL IN 69TH YEAR

Charles T. Mobley, 68, 403 1/2 West Linn street, died at 11:30 p.m., Wednesday at Evangelical Deaconess hospital where he had been taken earlier in the evening. He had been in failing health for the last seven years. Charles Truman Mobley was born Jan. 16, 1881, in Madison county, the son of H. H. and Frances Gilbert Mobley. He came to Marshall county in 1908 and had lived here since that time. MARRIED IN 1910 On Feb. 10, 1910, he was married to Zoe Anna Thurston and they lived on a farm east of the city until four years ago when they moved to Marshalltown. Preceding him in death were a brother and a sister. Surviving besides the widow are two sons and two daughters, Gail Mobley of Osage, Lyle Mobley of route 5, Mrs. E. L. (Hazel) Coffman, Marshalltown, and Mrs. Oscar Nelson of route 4. OTHER SURVIVORS LISTED Also surviving are three brothers and a sister, Eli Mobley of Marshalltown, W. S. Mobley of Guthrie Center, S. E. Mobley of near Des Moines and Mrs. Nora Beeber of Panora. Nine grandchildren also survive. Services will be held at the Estel funeral home at 3 p.m. Saturday in charge of Rev. Ralph Skaggs, pastor of the Iowa River church.
