W. H. HOUSE RITES TUESDAY

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pursel-Davis Chapel for William H. House, 71, 403 Bromely St., who died Saturday morning at Veterans Hospital in Des Moines. He had been a patient there one week. The Rev. B. W. Wynn will be in charge of the service and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Mr. House was born Nov. 4, 1895 in Jacksonville, Ill., son of Leslie House and Emma Moore House, and was reared there, later living in Bowling Green, Mo. He came to Marshalltown in 1944 and was employed at Kiowa Corp., until his retirement in 1961. On Aug. 7, 1928, he was married to M. Beulah Williams at Quincy, Ill., and she preceded him in death. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Kathryn L. Wilder and Mrs. Helen Briscoe of Independence, Mo.; Mrs. Della Canafax of Peoria, Ill., and one son, the Rev. Gladstone E. Wells of Webster Groves, Mo. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, three uncles and an aunt. Mr. House was a veteran of World War I, a member of Morrow Memorial Methodist Church, Frank Lewis Glick Post No. 46 of the American Legion and the Masons.
