G. W. WOLFGANG FUNERAL SERVICE TO BE THURSDAY

George W. Wolfgang, 79, of 606 Marion street died at 5:00 a.m. this Monday morning at his home following a long illness. He had suffered a series of strokes commencing in October 1948. Mr. Wolfgang was a resident of Marshall county all his life. He was born April 27, 1871 near Marshalltown, the son of Edwin and Mary Ellen Williams Wolfgang. WORKED IN CITY On March 10, 1897, he married Florence Nicholson. In 1915 they moved to Marshalltown and he worked at the Marshalltown Manufacturing company until his retirement. Five brothers and one sister are dead. SURVIVORS ARE LISTED Surviving besides Mrs. Wolfgang are; two daughters, Mrs. Fred W. Lawler and Mrs. Walter H. Lawler and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Goodale, all residing in and near Marshalltown. Four grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive. Services will be held at the Estel funeral home at 3 p.m. Thursday in charge of Rev. Orval E. Walker. Burial will be in Riverside.
