HARRY MCLEAN, NATIVE OF CITY, DIES IN ILLINOIS

Harry G. McLean, a native of Marshalltown, died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday in Chicago, Ill., following an illness of six months. Death was of carcinoma. He was general credit manager of the City Service Oil company. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Pursel funeral home with Rev. Ronald W. Dickson officiating. Burial will be in Lamoille cemetery with Masonic services at the grave. BROTHER OF REPRESENTATIVE Mr. McLean was a brother of the late Don V. McLean, former state representative from Marshall county. He was born Aug. 28, 1884, in Marshalltown, the son of Henry C. and Emma J. McLean. He attended Marshalltown public and high schools for several years. He was a graduate of Central Iowa Business college. 12 YEARS IN CHICAGO Mr. McLean worked for the Marshall Oil company and began with the City Service Oil company as a bookkeeper at Tulsa, Okla. He had been general credit manager of the company the last 12 years in the Chicago office. Mr. McLean never married. He was a member of Lamoille Congregational church and Marshall lodge No. 108 A.F. and A.M. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Elsworth Young of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. J. W. Benson of Bismark, N. Dak.
