H. C. WRIGHT DIES IN 88TH YEAR; RITES ARE PLANNED FRIDAY

H. C. Wright, 87, a former resident of Marshalltown, died in Oakland, Calif., Sunday. He was married to Eliza Buffington at Jefferson March 17, 1886, and lived there two years before moving to Albion where they lived until 1911. Marshalltown had been Mr. Wright's home since then until two years ago when he went to California. Mrs. Wright died in 1924. Mr. Wright was employed by the Marshall Vinegar works for a number of years. He is survived by three daughters; Mrs. Myrtle Wiltse of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Roy Cotton of Richmond, Calif., and Mrs. Hazel Whealan of Berkley, Calif. Two grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great great grandson also survive. Services will be held at the Estel Funeral home Friday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Albion cemetery. The body will arrive in Marshalltown early Friday.
