HENRY E. HENNIS, 90, DIES AT STATE CENTER

State Center ---(Special)--- Henry E. Hennis, 90, died at 5:10 a.m. Wednesday at his home here after a short illness of pneumonia and heart disease. Born in Hanover, Germany, May 12, 1849, he came to America when he was 17 years old, first living in Illinois and then settling on a farm north of State Center where he lived until 1919 when he retired and moved to town. He married Miss Amelia Thomas at State Center and she died here March 14, 1924. He is survived by four sons and a daughter, Wilbur C. and August Hennis and Mrs. Emma Weuve of State Center and Henry and William Hennis of Madelia, Minn. Funeral arrangements are not complete.
