JAMES LACINA BURIED IN RIVERSIDE CEMETERY

Funeral services for James Lacina, 65, who died Wednesday of bronchial pneumonia at St. Joseph's hospital in Brainerd, Minn., were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Pursel funeral home in charge of Dr. Pieter Smit. Burial was in the Riverside. Pallbearers were Dewey Clay, John Carter, Fred Cordt, W. A. George, Roy Dunlap, and P. G. Drury. Burial services of Aerie No. 341, F.O.E., were conducted by Ed LaPlant, Jr., acting worthy president, and Joe Wilkens, worthy chaplain. Mr. Lacina was born on Feb. 12, 1881, at Quarry the son of John and Mary Lacina. He had lived in Marshall county until three years ago when he went to make his home in Nisswa, Minn., near Brainerd. The body was accompanied from Minnesota by his widow, his son, Clarence Lacina, and the latter's wife who live in Dillon, and a daughter, Gladys, who lives in Rock Island, Ill. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. George Hall of this city and Mrs. Fred Freese of Savonburg, Kan., who with her family attended the services. A brother, William Lacina, preceded his brother in death but his family attended the services from Cadott, Wis.
