WOMAN FOUND DEAD IN BED AT HER HOME

Mrs. R. E. Harrison, 61, was found dead in her bed at 112 North Eighth street Thursday morning and Judge L. R. Sheets, acting coroner, said apparently she died between 2 and 4 o'clock Thursday morning of heart disease. He said no inquest would be held. Judge Sheets was called to the North Eighth street address at 7:15 Thursday morning. Roxie Elizabeth Martin was born in Crystal township, Tama county, July 25, 1880, the daughter of Edward and Ella Martin. She was married to Ralph E. Harrison Aug. 23, 1900, in Tama county. Mrs. Harrison is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Nadine Roach of Des Moines; one granddaughter, Shirley Mitchell, and one grandson, Eugene Mitchell, both of Des Moines. Four brothers, Vern and Sam Martin of Traer, Ben Martin of Toledo, and Ira Martin of Sac City, and one sister, Mrs. Lottie Harrison of Traer, also survive. Her husband preceded her in death July 9, 1941. The body was taken to the Estel funeral home. Funeral arrangements will not be made until the daughter arrives from Des Moines.
