ALICE ROBINETT

Alice A. Brown Robinett, 88, of Gilman died Monday, Aug. 7, at Grinnell General Hospital.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday at Pursel-Davis Chapel in Marshalltown, with burial in Rose Hill Memorial Garden there.

She was the daughter of Hesakiah and Rena Neal Brown and was born May 20, 1901, in Brumley, Mo. She received her education in Brumley.

She was married to Albert E. Robinett March 4, 1920, in Brumley. The couple moved to Iowa and farmed in Marshall and Tama counties before moving to Gilman in 1962.

Surviving are a son, Dale of Tama; one daughter, Lillian McWhirter of Baxter; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She as preceded in death by her husband, her parents, four brothers, five sisters, a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.
