Edwin A. Kruger, 92, of Marshalltown, formerly of Grafton, died Thursday, April 19, 1984, in Marshalltown.

Mr. Kruger owned Kruger Mfg. Co., in Marshalltown for over 50 years, retiring about 1975. He was born September 5, 1891, in Worth County to Gustav and Helena (Bruesewitz) Kruger. He attended school in Worth County and was a 1914 graduate of Highland Park College, Des Moines, with a degree in engineering. He was in business in the Kruger-Bruesewitz Garage in Grafton for four or five years after college, before moving to Marshalltown.

Funeral services were held Saturday at Hogan-Bremer-Bride Colonial Chapel, Manly, with Dr. John Meyer of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Manly, officiating. Burial was in the Grafton Cemetery.

Survivors include one sister, Ida Warner, Mason City; one brother, Alvin Kruger, Grafton; and several nieces and nephews.
