Services for Carl A. Sellers, 85, who died Wednesday at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Champion Funeral Home in Osage with the Reverend John Gregory officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at Marshalltown.

Sellers, who farmed and was in business in central and eastern Iowa during his active years, moved here a month and a half ago from Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was a resident of the White House of Osage.

Sellers was born January 24, 1894, at Richland, Iowa to George and Mollie Harris Sellers.

He married Lola Boggs on August 16, 1922, in Des Moines. She died in 1959 and in 1962, he and Minnie Britt were married in Malvern, Arkansas. She and a brother preceded him in death.

Surviving are two sons: Russell Sellers of Minneapolis and Leland of Osage, three sisters: Mrs. Frances MacPherson of Port Hueneme, California; Mrs. Manella Stimson and Mrs. Catherine Crust of Hemet, California, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
