MRS. ARNEY IS DEAD AT 91

Mrs. J. Leonard (Mary) Arney, 91, 408 N. Center St., died at 2 p.m. Sunday at her home. She was born northeast of Albion July 23, 1875, daughter of Joseph and Cynthia Lhamon McKibben, and was reared in that vicinity. On July 3, 1894, she was married to Mr. Arney at the home of her parents, and they lived on a farm and later in Albion before moving to Marshalltown where he was a city street car and bus operator for many years. Mr. Arney died May 10, 1962. Surviving is a brother, Riley A. McKibben of Liscomb. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Two sisters and seven brothers preceded her in death. Mrs. Arney was a member of the First Methodist Church, Woman's Bible Class and Woman's Society of Christian Service. Service will be a 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Avey Funeral Home with the rev. Dr. James K. Delahooke in charge. Burial will be in Bethel Grove Cemetery.
