NELLIE M. ISGRIG, 85

Nellie M. Isgrig, 85, of the Marshall County Care Facility and formerly of Garwin, died Saturday, June 15, at the care facility. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Liscomb Cemetery, with the Rev. Helmer Peterson officiating. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Tuesday at Estel-Perrin-Avey Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6:30-8 p.m. She was born Dec. 1, 1910, at Liscomb to William and Mary Gould Ewalt. She was educated in her area of birth. On April 2, 1929, she married Lester Isgrig at Albion. They lived in Albion, Marshalltown and in the Garwin area for several years. She moved to Marshalltown last year and then moved to the Marshall County Care Facility in February. She was employed at restaurants in Whitten and Garwin and was a homemaker. She is survived by her son, Bill of Marshalltown; three daughters, Charlotte (Mrs. Gary) Cooper of Marshalltown, Phyllis (Mrs. Harlan) Yeariam of Escondito, Calif., and Judy (Mrs. Ron) Peterson of Waukee; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ralph Ewalt of Marshalltown. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband on July 22, 1966; a brother, Ron Ewalt; and a great-granddaughter.
