BILL EWALT DIES TUESDAY

LISCOMB --- W. H. (Bill) Ewalt, 87, former Liscomb resident, died Tuesday at the home of his son near State Center. Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Liscomb Church of Christ, with the Rev. Helmer Peterson officiating. Burial will be in the Liscomb Cemetery. He was born Oct. 25, 1887, at Ferguson, a son of David and Jennie Wilson Ewalt. He attended rural Marshall County schools. On May 10, 1910, he was married to Mary Gould. Following marriage, he farmed all of his life in Marshall County. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Nellie Isgrig, Marshalltown; two sons, Ralph, Marshalltown, and Ronald, State Center; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Nelson, Union; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Bethel Grove Church. Preceding Mr. Ewalt in death were his wife in 1958, a brother, two sisters, several half-brothers and half-sisters, and three great-grandchildren.
