Wallace "Wally" Kutzner, 79, Marshalltown, died January 15, 2011 at the Iowa River Hospice House, Marshalltown.

Born January 27, 1931 at State Center IA
Parents: Ernest and Rose (Busse) Kutzner
Graduated from Marshalltown HS in 1949.

Married Joan Marie Johnson November 9, 1949 in Marshalltown.
Employed at Fisher Controls for 33 years, retiring in 1986.

Interests: coin collecting, playing billiards and cards, poker, Sheep's Head, doing yard work.
Treasured his kids and grandkids.
Man of few words.

Surviving: daughter Vicky (Dick) Veren of rural Albion; grandchildren Peter Veren, Jennifer Kneeland, Michael and Megan Warner; great-grandchildren Kyrie, Tyler, Jackson, Ellen & Anna Kneeland; Isabel & Isaac Veren; Joshua Warner. Also his brother Elvin Kutzner of Olathe KS and sister Gloria Bennet of Marshalltown.

Preceded in death by: parents; son John Kutzner; brothers Wayne, Ernest Jr., Merle and Larry; sister Vivian Campbell

Buried at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Marshalltown
