MRS. TEMPLETON DIES; SERVICES TO BE TUESDAY

Mrs. Pearl Eliza Templeton, 75, of 718 W. Madison St., died at Marshalltown Manor Sunday afternoon, where she had been a patient for a week. Born Feb. 6, 1894, the daughter of Elmer and Annie Large at Liscomb, her early education was received at the Liscomb school and she grew to womanhood in this area. Mrs. Templeton was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, June Gray. Surviving are four children, Cady Templeton and Jack Templeton of Chicago, Mrs. Gretchen Determan and Carroll Large of Marshalltown, 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Services will be from the chapel of Estel-Perrin Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Robert MacCanon, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, in charge. Burial will be at Bethel Grove Cemetery.
