MRS. MILLER DIES AT 93

Mrs. Mary Miller, 93, formerly of Liscomb, who has been a patient in a city nursing home for the last year, died in the University Hospital in Iowa City Tuesday, where she was taken after suffering a hip fracture. Among the survivors is a daughter, Mrs. Anna O'Bryon of Waterloo, and eight grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Estel-Perrin Funeral Home where friends may call further information.

MRS. MILLER SERVICES SET

Services for Mrs. Mary (Mollie) Miller, 93, former Liscomb resident, and for the last year a patient in a local nursing home, who died at the University Hospital in Iowa City Tuesday afternoon, will be from the Liscomb Evangelical and Reformed Church at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in charge of the Rev. Robert MacCanon of Grace EUB Church, Marshalltown. BURIAL WILL be in Bethel Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the Estel-Perrin Funeral Home through Friday evening. Born Mary Hof March 1, 1868, in Peoria County, Ill., she was the daughter of Joseph and Geneva Mair Hof. At the age of five, she came with her parents to Iowa and after her parents died was reared by Mr. and Mrs. Israel Griffith. She received her education in the Albion Seminary. On Sept. 11, 1897, she was married to F. M. (Doc) Miller and had always lived in or near Liscomb. MRS. MILLER was a member of the Liscomb Evangelical and Reformed Church, the Mother's Club and the Women's Guild. Preceding her in death was her husband in 1950, four brothers and three sisters. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. G. B. O'Bryon of Waterloo; eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
