D.H. Lamb, a resident of Steamboat Rock for 23 years, passed away at his home early Monday [April 16, 1928]. Mr. Lamb's health had been failing for several months, but his condition did not become serious until about two weeks ago, when he contracted influenza.

Mr. Lamb was 77 years old. He leaves six children, three sons and three daughters. Mrs. Lamb died in 1920.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon.
