Services for Mrs. Lillian Hilsabeck were held at 2:00 p. m. Wednesday, November 27, 1957 at Cresbard Methodist Church, Rev. Charles Finney officiated.
Lillian Jane Campbell was born January 9, 1869 at Paris, Illinois and passed away at Faulk County Memorial Hospital, Sunday November 24, 1957 after a short illness at the age of 88 years and 10 months. As a small child she moved with her parents to Marshalltown, Iowa where she received her education and grew to womanhood. On January 8, 1890 she was married to Elkanah Hilsabeck. To this union seven children were born, five daughters and two sons. In the year 1910 the family moved to Redfield where they farmed for a number of years. In 1931 they came to Cresbard to make their home and be near their children. She is survived by Mrs. Lester Johnson, Cresbard, Ray of Davenport, Iowa, Max of Clark, eight grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Her husband and three daughters preceded her in death.
