Isaac E. Hilsabeck of Ferguson Passes

Ferguson, July 26 – (Special) – Isaac E. Hilsabeck, a lifelong resident of Marshall County, died at 6:15 p. m. Wednesday evening at his home in Ferguson. Death was due to heart trouble and complications following an illness of two months.
Mr. Hilsabeck was born in Marshall County, May 8, 1854, a son of William and Matilda Hilsabeck. He was married, February 3 1878, to Cora E. Howe. Surviving are the widow, five children, 29 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. The children are Mrs. Enora Berry and Mrs. M. W. Biddle of Newton, Mrs. M. T. Willim of Marshalltown, and Mrs. T. E. Binkley and Delbert Hilsabeck of Ferguson.
Three sisters and a brother also survive. They are Mrs. T. J. Elsberry and Mrs. Ardelia Bellus of Marshalltown, Mrs. Matilda Turner of Albion and E. H. Hilsabeck of Cresbard, South Dakota.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 o’clock Saturday at the Estel Funeral Home in Marshalltown and burial will be in the Timber Creek Cemetery.
