Andrew Harbin Dies at Age 80; Rites set Monday

Andrew Harbin, 80, longtime Marshall County resident died at the Marshall County Hospital Friday morning where he had been a patient for the last five years.
Born November 1, 1885, in Lewisville, North Carolina, he was the son of John and Rebecca Baker Harbin. He received his education and grew to manhood in the area of his birth.
On March 13, 1915, he was married to Mae Hilsabeck and they made their home on farms in the Green Mountain and Union areas.
Mrs. Harbin died in 1947. Also preceded him in death were two brothers and two sisters.
Surviving is a granddaughter and a grandson, Mrs. David Callahan of Liscomb and John Harbin, Marshalltown.
Services will be from the chapel of Estel-Perrin Funeral Home at 10:30 a. m. Monday with the Rev, Ray Bowler, pastor of the Bethel Grove Church in charge. Burial will be in the Bethel Grove Cemetery.
