LISCOMB MAN DIES

---Corey F. Miller Victim of Heart Failure This Morning---

Corey F. Miller, a resident of Liscomb, dropped dead at 9 o’clock this morning at his home. Death was due to heart failure. Mr. Miller had been outdoors and dropped to the floor a moment after he had entered the door. He had suffered an attack of heart trouble three weeks ago, and had been in poor health since that time. He was born Sept. 7, 1882, and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Miller, of the Bethel Grove neighborhood. He had spent his entire life in or near Liscomb and married Miss Essie Ewalt March 25, 1902. Five children survive Mr. Miller, one other having died in infancy. There are Mrs. Harold Elery, 308 N. Eleventh ave., city, and Carl, Genevieve, Earl and Arlyn, all at home. Mr. Miller is also survived by his father J. W. Miller; a brother, Cecil Miller; and a sister, Mrs. Delbert Gould, all living on the old home farm near Bethel Grove, and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Hilsabeck, Cresco, and Mrs. Wilfred Mishler, of Marywood, Mo. Mrs. J. W. Miller died on Oct. 15. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Friday at the Bethel Grove church and burial will be in the Bethel Grove cemetery. A prayer service will be held at the home at 2 o’clock. Mr. Miller was a member of the old Bethel Grove church.
