LISCOMB RESIDENT DEAD

---Mrs. J. W. Miller Dies at Home of Daughter, Mrs. D. E. Gould---

Mrs. Lucetta Ann Miller, wife of J. W. Miller, died at 1 o’clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. E. Gould, two miles southwest of Liscomb. Death came after an illness of six weeks and was due to tuberculosis. Mrs. Miller was injured three years ago in an automobile accident at Cresco, and had since been in failing health. Tuberculosis developed early last spring. Mrs. Miller was born in Polk county, near Des Moines, Oct. 21, 1856, and lived there until 1874, when she was married at the home of her mother, Mrs. W. J. Mathis, to Mr. Miller. Immediately after their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Miller moved to the farm where Mrs. Gould now makes her home near Liscomb. They left the farm in 1910 and went to Cresco to make their home with another daughter, Mrs. F. E. Hilsabeck. They returned to Marshall county in June. Mrs. Miller was a member of the old Bethel Grove Christian church with which she united soon after she and Mr. Miller came to the Liscomb neighborhood. She is survived by her husband, now at the home of the daughter near Liscomb; two sons, C. F. Miller, of Liscomb, and C. I. Miller of Cresco, and three daughters, Mrs. W. W. Mishler, of Norwood, Mn.; Mrs. Gould and Mrs. F. E. Hilsabeck, of Cresco. A son and two daughters died in infancy. A brother, I. S. Mathis, of Herman, Minn., a sister, Mrs. George Burges, of Imogene, S. D., and sixteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive. Arrangements for the funeral had not been made today.
