ALBION MAN DEAD

---L. C. Price Stricken Suddenly With Disease of Heart---

At 10 o’clock Sunday night occurred the death of L. C. Price at his home at Albion. Death came suddenly shortly after he had retired for the night and was caused by heart disease. According to his wife, Mr. Price, who seemed to be in his usual good health, had gone to bed only half an hour before she entered the room, and died a short time after she reached his side. Mr. Price was born in Ogle county, Ill., Dec. 18, 1856, and was married to Miss Ida May Grush Feb. 10, 1880 at Pine Creek, Ill. Mr. and Mrs. Price lived at Wolsey, S. D., until 1891, and came from that place to a farm two miles northeast of Albion. Five years ago they left the farm and purchased a home in Albion. Besides his wife, Mr. Price is survived by seven children. They are Mrs. A. T. Sweely, Rodman; Mrs. H. O. Wilkerson, Frankfort, Mo.; Wilbur Price, Emmetsburg; Mrs. C. P. Porter, city; Mrs. J. A. McKibbon and John Price, Albion, and Lester Price of Cedar Falls. A brother, C. C. Price, and two sisters, Mrs. William Lampman and Mrs. John Eekman, live at Polo, Ill. Mr. Price was a member of the Bethel Grove church and had been an elder for a number of years. Prayer service will be held at the home at 9:30 o’clock Wednesday morning, followed by services at the Bethel church at 10:30. Burial will be in the Bethel cemetery.
