Elmer S. Arney, Formerly a Well Known Farmer of Iowa Township, Takes His Own Life At His Home in Ferguson This Afternoon – Details Are Lacking

Word received this afternoon from Ferguson announces the death by suicide of Elmer S. Arney, one of the well-known merchants of that place. Financial matters are thought to be the cause. Elmer Arney for many years was a resident of Iowa township, living three miles northwest of Albion, and moved to Ferguson only last winter, where he engaged in the general merchandise business. He leaves a wife and several children and is the cousin of Mr. P. F. Arney, of this city.
