Rufus Chadwick, aged 75 years, an old resident of the county, died at his home, ten miles north of the city, in Liscomb township, Friday night from complications due to old age. He settled in Marshall county in 1866, coming here from Knox county, and had the peculiar distinction of living on the highest spot in Marshall county. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Dora Rosencrantz, of Nance county , Nebraska, and Miss Salina, who lives at home, and one son, Daniel, who also lived with his father. The funeral was held at 10 o’clock this morning at the home, and the interment will be in the Bethel cemetery, southwest of Liscomb.
