Clear Creek, March 30 – Special to The Daily News – Funeral services for Simeon Rush, 79, were held at Ames Tuesday, March 21, and burial was in the Collins cemetery. Mr. Rush died Sunday, March 19, at the home of his daughter at Kingsley.
Mr. and Mrs. Rush lived at Collins and helped organize the first Sunday school and church about 50 years ago. He managed a lumber yard there for many years.
In later years they lived at Ames, but often came to Colfax and Collins on visits.
