George Wall Rites Friday

George O. Wall, 83, 117 N. 2nd St., died Wednesday at his home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Harrison's Funeral Home, Tama. The Rev. Alan Avery, Pastor of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, will officiate. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Montour. He was born April 30, 1900, at Montour, the son of Oliver and Sarah Wilkinson Wall. He was reared and educated in the Montour area. He married Blanche Smith Dec. 24, 1924. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Lyle, Route 5; a sister, Elizabeth Matney, State Center; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers, three sisters and one grandchild. A memorial fund has been established for the Iowa River Hospice in Marshalltown. Friends may call at Harrison's Funeral Home Thursday.
