The same services will be held that were given for Mr. Weatherly, who died November 15, 1939. Arrangements will be in charge of the Lockwood Funeral Home and interment will be in Riverview cemetery. Ellen J. Long, daughter of John and Adeline Long, was born November 30, 1860, at Coal City, Ind., and was 79 years, 2 months, and 5 days old at the time of her death. She was the youngest child of a family of four children. Two sisters and one brother preceded her in death. Her father and mother passed away when she was a young child. Thereafter she made her home with her grandparents, Lawrence and Loniza Arney. At the age of 16 she came to Marshall county, Iowa, where she made her home with the Solomon Arney family. On November 30, 1882, she was united in marriage to John L. Weatherly of Liscomb, Iowa, where they resided until 1885, when they moved to Lyon county, Iowa. She was affiliated with the Church of Christ at 14 years of age, and continued as a member until the time of her death. She is survived by four children: Mrs. B. M. Hunt of Vashti, N. D., Floyd C. Weatherly of Jamestown, Mrs. Tim Rohweller and Royce Weatherly of Doon. Two children, Laura and Mrs. H. H. Helmers and her husband, John L. Weatherly, preceded her in death. She also leaves to mourn her death 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends,

"Mother"

Whose love can equal the love of a Mother,
Whose the devotion so loyal and true!
Who suffers so much with such joy for another,
Who works with such pleasure as Mother for you!
You hail with delight the friendship of others,
You revel in love of the sweetheart you've won;
Yet where do you find a friendship like Mother's,
Unbroken 'til death calls and life's work is done.
