Funeral of Jesse Speicher

The funeral of Jesse H. Speicher, a former resident of Liscomb, who died Wednesday night at Iowa Falls, was held from the Christian church at Liscomb at 2:30 Saturday afternoon. There was a short service at the home at Iowa Falls at 11:30 Saturday, conducted by Rev. L. Sours, of the Christian church. The Liscomb service was in charge of Rev. George W. Biersborn, and Mrs. Biersborn, Mrs. Ed Dillon, E. L. Burkhart and John Gifford sang. The pallbearers were members of the Sons of Veterans of Iowa Falls and were Elmer Kessler, Steve Westgate, Will Collins, George Price, Thad Mann, Jess Fitz and Bert Thayer. Aside from Mrs. Speicher and her children, of Iowa Falls, the relatives from away were Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Buchanan and family, Marshalltown; Mr. and Mrs. Will Brass, Mr. and Mrs. Iven Brockway, Albert Brockway, Iowa Falls; Mrs. Nora Fiscus, Sherman Fiscus and Mrs. Allie Sheeley, Harlan, and Mr. and Mrs. James Beesley and daughter, Ethyl, Greene. Burial was in the Liscomb cemetery.
