Jannette M. (Jurgensen) Mitchell was born on Saturday; September 9, 1916 in Helena; Lewis and Clark County, Montana. She was the daughter of: M.P. and Emily (Davis) Jurgensen. She attended school at Albion; Marshall County, Iowa. Jannette married Delmer Mitchell, and the couple lived in the Albion area until Delmer took early retirement from Fisher Controls. They moved to Bondurant; Polk County, Iowa for 7 years, operating Mitchell Equipment. The couple then permanently retired and moved to the Marshalltown; Marshall County, Iowa area. Delmer and Jannette enjoyed 66 years together. Jannette was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church, was a Sunday school teacher, and led a Bible study group at the church. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, embroidery, and traveling. Jannette M. (Jurgensen) Mitchell, age 91, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on Thursday; July 24, 2008 at the Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center. Those left to mourn her passing are: Her daughters: Rose Keeler and Carol Bristley, both of Marshalltown, Iowa. Her nine grandchildren: Chris Keeler, Kim Corbin, Sue Cattlett, Joni Preston, Teri Yoemans, Linda Frazier, Sally Foresha, Sharyl Mitchell, and Travis Keeler. Her seventeen great-grandchildren and her nine great-great-grandchildren. Her sister: Irene Nuese of Faribault; Rice County, Minnesota. Also numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Delmer; her son: Warren; her son-in-law: Jerry Keeler and three sisters. May they rest in peace. There will be no visitation. Funeral services will begin at: 10:00 a.m. on Monday; July 28, 2008 at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Marshalltown, Iowa.
