Lela M. Petermeier, 90

Baxte, Lela M. Petermeier, 90, of Colonial Manor Care Center, Baxter, died Saturday, Sept. 9, 1995, at the care center. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bethany Cemetery, Baxter, with the Rev. Charles Holgren of Baxter Congregational United Church of Christ officiating. Visiting hours will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Boyd Davis Funeral Home, where the family will greet friends.
She was born May 2, 1905, at Baxter to Fred and Caroline Schnathorst Petermeier. She was raised and educated in Baxter and worked for the food service department of the Savory Hotel in Des Moines for many years, retiring in 1970.
She is survived by her sister, Doris Noyer, Margate, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and three brothers.
