Melbourne Rites Set Saturday For Harry Petermeier

Services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the St. John United Church of Christ for Harry Petermeier, 66, Melbourne, who died at his home Wednesday afternoon.
The Rev. Keith Selberg, pastor of St. John, will officiate, and burial will be at the Melbourne Cemetery.
Arrangements are being made by Pursel Davis Funeral Home.
Mr. Petermeier was born Dec. 4, 1911, in Melbourne, the son of August F. and Matilda Gauch Petermeier. He was married on Jan. 1, 1937, to Margaret L. Huber, and she survives.
Other survivors include four children; Allan L. Petermeier, Universal City, Texas; Norman B. Petermeier, Saratoga, Calif., Stanley L. Petermeier, Las Alamos, N.M., and Ardelle (Mrs. Rex) Spooner, Aurora, MO.; Raymond P. Petermeier, Melbourne; Harvey Petermeier, Melbourne, and Mrs. Caroline Hinegardner, Montour.
Mr. Petermeier was reared and educated in Melbourne, graduating from Melbourne High School. He lived on a farm south of Melbourne until 1976, when he retired. He had been a bus driver for the Melbourne School District for more than 20 years. He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ and the Full Moon Lodge No. 561, AF&AM.
