Edward Kracht, 90, of 110 S. 11 St. died Wednesday morning, Sept. 2, 1987 at his home.
He was born Aug. 12, 1897 in Black Jack, MO, the son of Gustav and Anna Brockman Kracht. On Oct. 30, 1921 he was married to Bernice C. Wilsterman and they made their home in Melbourne until moving to Marshalltown in 1943. He had been self employed for many years as an insurance agent and loan advisor.
Preceding him in death was his wife in 1986, two brothers and a sister.
Surviving are a daughter, Norman (Mrs. Robert) Luce of Mount Prospect, IL., two granddaughters and two great granddaughters.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Estel Perrin Funeral Home with the Rev. John Rieboff officiating. Burial will be in the Melbourne Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until service time.
