Who's your friend? I'm the gg-grandaughter of Newton Seigle Banta and Mary Ollie Foster through their son Ted V. Banta. I'm currently working on this line and found Mary listed in the 1870 Marion Co. Census with her father, James, 45, and mother Elvira?, 36 (hard to read the name). Also in the household is Amanda, 14, Cla??nda, F, 11, David, 5, and James, 3.
