William ROSE's siblings or parents

My great grandfather, Wm. Rose,born 1817 in N.Y. was on the 1870 Marion Co. census with his family in Washington township. By 1874, he was dead and is buried in the Zion Cem. in Lucas Co. It isn't known whether he died in Marion or Lucas. His wife, Margaret and 2 sons were on the 1880 Lucas Co. census.
Did he have any Rose relatives in either county? I have searched diligently in WI where the fam.moved from and in N.Y. to try tofind out who his parents and/ or siblings are. Nice ladies from both counties hist./genealogy societes have helped. I need an obit and some kinfolks names. His wife's maiden name was Goltry and many of her people were in Lucas. I am really, really stumped. Thanks in advance and sorry for the length of the query. You may email me.
