I don't have any info on the Mary Ann's parents. I have researched the 1860 census for Monroe County IA and there were six different families with a Mary Ann McCoy.

Now I see info stating that she was born in Centerville which would be Appanoose County IA. Also on later census records it was stated that she was born in IN.

Thank you for posting the mileage between Hamilton and Lovilia. My Conklin family and also my Dewing family seemed to be living on the border of Marion and Monroe Counties.

How are you connected to this family? Ephraim is a brother to my great grandmother, Elizabeth Conklin Dewing 1841 PA-1929 MN.
