Greta,

Ephraim Conklin of Warren County IA is the paternal uncle of the Ephraim Conklin who married in Monroe County IA to Mary Ann McCoy.

Ephraim and Mary Ann lived in Hamilton, Marion County IA and then moved to KA and other states in the mid-west.

Ephraim (the nephew), is a brother to Mary Jane Conklin Stilwell,Delia Conklin McCoy, and Azor Conklin who are buried in Hamilton, Marion County IA cemetery. Their mother Orinda Grantier Conklin is also buried there. Orinda is a sister to Henry Granteer of Monroe County IA.

While this family lived in Hamilton, Marion County IA, they all married in Lovilia, Monroe County IA. I estimate the distance to be about 10-15 miles between Hamilton and Lovilia.

Thanks for doing the look-up. Also I have more info to share on this Conklin family.
