My Grandma and Grandpa moved to Red Rock in 1913..my Daddy was born there in 1922...he and Mom moved in 1954 when my sister was 2 mos. old..they had a bad flood in '54...some of the Red Rockers were farmers...others worked at Maytag etc...Red Rock sat "askew" with the rest of the world...(can't remember the exact word I need)...instead of north/south...east/west..it was north/east...south/west....I remember the general store use to be on the road from HWY. 14 into R.R....I also remember celebrating my birthday in the Church and playing on the teeter totters on the school grounds....let me know what else I can help with....have other (older) Red Rockers that could tell u more.......K??
