A year ago this queryboard helped me to find my grandfathers sister, who disappears from the Netherlands and lived in Pella, Marion Co.IA
Thank you for all your efforts.
Actually I miss another member of my family.
The mother of my grandfathers sister, my great-grandmother.I cant find her in the Netherlands after 1891, when she re-married as a widow.
There is a good chance she joined her daughter and immigrated to the US and most likely Iowa
Her name: Francina Roubos, widow of Peter de Koning. She was born on Oct.23,1853 in Almkerk, Noord-Brabant, Holland.(Re)-Married Nov.27,1891 to Johannes van Ooijen in Almkerk, Holland. Her daughter Maaike de Koning lived with her in Eethen Holland, before coming to Iowa in 1899. Census 1900 shows Maaike in Black Oak, Mahaska Co.Census 1910,1920,1930 shows Maaike in Pella, Marion Co. where she died on August 15, 1950 and buried on Oakwood Cemetery in Pella.
